Crossco® Max-Flex 5500™ is a 100% acrylic, single-component roof sealant designed with fibers that provide volume, hardness, and a uniform appearance on surfaces while maintaining 100% elasticity and balance between properties.

Application

The surface must be clean and dry for proper adhesion of the coatings. Damaged or loose parts of the roof must be repaired before applying the coating. Items such as drainage holes, air conditioning units, heating units, and exhaust systems must be protected during application. Choose a clear and sunny day. Do not apply after 3:00 PM or at low temperatures. Apply only when the temperature is above 50°F. Ensure the product is protected from rain for at least six hours after application. Apply with a thick-nap roller or an airless spray unit. Pour the product onto the surface and spread it evenly according to the recommended coverage. Drying time depends on thickness, humidity, and temperature. Do not walk on the sealant before 24 hours after application and apply in opposite directions. Do not dilute this product. Clean equipment and rollers with water and soap.
